Where Science Comes Alive

Kids of all ages are invited to explore our hands-on exhibits that demonstrate how science affects everyday life.

ROBOTIX

Use your imagination to build futuristic machines and creatures on our ROBOTIX table, then just add power to make them go.

Bottled Lightning

Place your hands on the glass globe and watch as 10,000 volts of electricity pass through your body, and you don't feel a thing.

Hot Air Balloon

Find out how hot air rises by operating the controls and making our hot air balloon rise 20 feet into the air.

Angular Momentum

Get on our angular momentum machine and discover why ice skaters can spin so fast without falling.

Midwest Wild Weather

Learn about our wild weather with these 11 exhibits: tornadoes, doppler radar, snowdrifts, wind speed, weather station, uneven heating, microburst, thunder delay, lightning formation, hot air rising and water cycle.
